new services set to launch....

With great joy and anticipation we look forward to the launch of our new church services on Sunday evening, September 2nd at 5:00 P.M.  We would love for you to join us as we celebrate this milestone together.  During the past three and a half months we have gathered as families to center our lives on Christ and His word, and to lay the foundations for a new church to honor the Savior and expand his kingdom in the greater Triad area.  We believe God is working in many churches and many lives in the Triad, yet there are so many more who need to be reached with the gospel.  Our desire is to partner with all who honor Christ and look to Him as the only Savior and Lord, the one who loves us unconditionally, and the one who deserves all of our heart's affection, our mind's attention, and our lives dedication.  He is our strength.  He is our joy.  Come and savor Christ with us - He is our Great God!

We'll be meeting at the Piedmont Baptist Association's gymnasium - located at 2009 Sharpe Road in Greensboro (see link to Meeting Times and Places).  We would love for you to come a bit early, around 4:30, to meet some of our folks and get to know who we are.  Then our first worship service will begin at 5:00 and will end with a celebration of communion for believers and a shared meal (potluck style) together where everyone is welcome with no obligation to bring anything (our members will be bringing delicious homemade dishes to enjoy).  After the meal (about 7:30)  you are invited to stay a while longer to chat with other families or join in some gymnasium games like basket ball or frisbee.  It will be a great evening of worship and fellowship centered around Christ!

Fellowship with God....

....it's the title of a book i'm currently reading (by Martyn Lloyd-Jones), but more than that, it's what we were created to do!  ....the highest price in the universe was paid to secure it for us.... how can we pass it by as if it were nothing?  if you're hungering and thirsting for more of it, come join us on the journey... He's waiting for us to move farther up and further in.

New Vision Bible Study Group on Wednesday Nights

We will be starting our first Bible study group on Wednesday May 23rd.  We will meet from 7:00 to 8:30 PM at the Piedmont Baptist Association's meeting room at 2009 Sharpe Road in Greensboro - just off the Lee Street exit off I-40 in east Greensboro.  We will be looking at the key values we find in scripture that will be the foundation of our new church.  Hope you can join us!!

Where and When to find us...

We are a new church located in Greensboro, North Carolina.  We will be having a vision sharing Bible Study on Wednesday nights from 7:00-8:30 PM.  We'll be meeting at the Piedmont Baptist Association's Meeting Room, at 2009 Sharpe Road, just off Lee Street exit of Interstate 40 in east Greensboro starting May 23rd.  Come join us for this summer series and see if the Lord may be leading you to join our fellowship!  Sunday services will be kicking off this fall :-)
